Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. With the scan tool, erase the Radio DTCs.
2. Start the engine and allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
3. If the vehicle has been in the hot sunlight or extreme cold, move the vehicle indoors and open the doors to allow the inside temperature to stabilize.
4. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

   Did the DTC return?

   Yes 

   • Replace the Radio in accordance with the Service information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO RECEIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   No 

   • Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
