Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs and record on the repair order.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
5. With the scan tool, read Amplifier DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE BCM FOR ACTIVE DTCS
1. With the scan tool, read active BCM DTCs and check for VIN Missing / Mismatch or Configuration related DTC's.
  Are there any related DTCs in the BCM?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate testing procedure for the BCM related DTC.
  No
  - Go To 3
PROXI THE BCM
1. With the scan tool, Proxi-configure the BCM.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the Amplifier DTCs.
3. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
4. With the scan tool, read the active Amplifier DTCs.
  Is the DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Amplifier in accordance with the Service information. Refer to AMPLIFIER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
