Diagnostic Test

Check For An Active DTC
1. Turn The Ignition On And Open One Of The Front Doors.
  NOTE:
  A Front Door Must Remain Open Whenever Checking Or Erasing Radio DTCS.
2. With The Scan Tool, Read Radio DTCS And Record On The Repair Order.
3. With The Scan Tool, Erase DTCS.
4. Cycle The Ignition Switch From On To Off, Wait Five Seconds And Then Back To On.
5. Adjust The Speakers To The Front And Center.
6. With The Scan Tool, Read Radio DTCS.
  Did The DTC Return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform The Testing For An Intermittent Condition Procedure. Refer To Testing For An Intermittent Condition .
Check The Wifi Cable Connection At The Radio
1. Turn The Ignition Off.
2. Inspect The Wifi Cable Connection At The Rear Of The Radio.
  Is The Wifi Cable Connection Secure And Undamaged?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Repair Or Replace The Wifi Antenna Cable Connection As Needed.
  - Perform The Body Verification Test. Refer To Body Verification Test .
Test The Wifi Antenna
1. Connect The 9977-6-Wifi-Bt Wifi Blue Tooth Antenna (Special Tool #9977-6-Wifi-Bt, Antenna, Wifi Blue Tooth) Test Tool To The Radio.
2. With The Scan Tool, Erase DTCS.
3. Turn The Ignition On.
4. With The Scan Tool, Read DTCS.
  Is The DTC Active?
  
  Yes
  - Replace The Radio In Accordance With The Service Information.
  - Perform The Body Verification Test. Refer To Body Verification Test .
  No
  - Replace The Wifi Antenna In Accordance With The Service Information.
  - Perform The Body Verification Test. Refer To Body Verification Test .
