Clutch C Measurement

- Using (special tool #8901A, Pressing Tool) (2) and (special tool #10429, Gauge, Force) (1) place clutch C (3) in a suitable arbor press (with the backing plate facing up).
- Apply 200 N (45 lbs.) of force to clutch C to compress the wave plate.
- With a suitable feeler gauge, measure the gap between the clutch C backing plate and the clutch C retainer.

Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
If clearance is not within specification a thinner or thicker selectable backing plate can be installed to achieve proper clearance.
