Lever, Manual Park Release: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the shifter bezel.
  3. Remove the bolts (1) securing the lever mechanism (2) to the mounting bracket.

  4. Disconnect the cable (1) from the housing (2), while holding the release tab (3) open.
  5. Remove the cable from the lever and remove the lever from the vehicle.
