- Connect the cable to the lever.
- Install the bolts (1) securing the lever mechanism (2) to the air ducting and tighten to 10 N.m (89 in. lb.).

- Connect the cable to the housing.
- Install the shifter bezel.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
