Arm, Wiper: Removal
- Lift the wiper arm and blade (3) to its over-center position to hold the wiper blade from the glass and relieve the spring tension on the wiper arm to pivot shaft connection.
- Carefully pry the plastic nut cap (4) from the nut (1) on the pivot end of the wiper arm.
- Remove the nut that secures the wiper arm to the wiper pivot shaft.
- If necessary, use a suitable battery terminal puller (3) to disengage the wiper arm (1) from the wiper pivot shaft (2).
- Remove the wiper arm pivot end from the wiper pivot shaft.
