Panel, B-Pillar Trim: Removal

  1. Move the front seat to the full forward position.
  2. Lift the cowl side trim (1) at the rear, then pull rearward and remove.
  3. Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the front edge of the rear door sill.
  4. Remove the door opening weatherstrip from the front and rear of the B-pillar.

  5. Using a trim stick (2) or equivalent, carefully lift the headliner and remove the hidden screw (1) at the top of the B-pillar trim panel.
  6. Move the seat belt height adjuster to the lowest position.

  7. Starting at the bottom of the B-pillar trim panel (1), pull by hand to release the retaining clips. The B-pillar trim panel can now be positioned aside for headliner and sunroof service. If removing continue with the procedure.

  8. Remove the trim cover (1) then the bolt (2) and the lower seat belt anchor (3) from the front seat.
  9. Feed the seat belt through the B-pillar trim panel and remove.
