Halogen Headlamps

NOTE:

If the headlight cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlight) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlight must be adjusted using the hex (1) manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlight.

  1. Turn the headlights ON and select the LOW beams.
  2. Block the light of the right headlight.
  3. Rotate the left headlight vertical adjustment screw to adjust the right side of the beam pattern to the lamp horizontal reference height as required. If the headlight cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlight) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlight must be adjusted using the hex manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlight.
  4. Block the light of the left headlight.
  5. Rotate the right headlight vertical adjustment screw to adjust the right side of the beam pattern to the lamp horizontal reference height as required. If the headlight cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlight) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlight must be adjusted using the hex manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlight.
