60% Seat Back

  1. Remove the 60% rear seat back from vehicle. Refer to SEAT BACK, REAR, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the armrest. Refer to ARMREST, REAR, REMOVAL .
  3. Push a small round tool (4) into the hole (1) on the headrest sleeve and push the release button (3) on the other headrest sleeve and remove the headrest (2).

  4. Release the hook and loop fasteners (2) in the armrest pocket and pull the cover (1) open.

  5. Remove the five push fasteners (1) in the armrest pocket.

  6. Using pliers, squeeze the bottom tabs (1) on the headrest sleeves (2) and remove.

  7. Separate the retainer strip (2) at the bottom of the seat back cover (3).
  8. Unzip the seat back cover zippers (1).

  9. Release the hook and loop fastener (1) at the center hinge bracket (2).

  10. Open the seat back cover (4) and remove the push fastener (3).
  11. Remove the seat back cover and seat back foam (2), as an assembly, from the seat back frame (1).

  12. Starting at the bottom of the seat back, pull the seat cushion cover (1) away from the foam (3) and carefully release the clip strips (2) from the molded clips (6).
  13. Lift the cover over the top of the seat back and release the hook and loop fasteners (4) and remove the seat back cover.
