Halogen Headlamps

NOTE:

If the headlamp cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlamp) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlamp must be adjusted using the hex (1) manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlamp.

  1. Turn the headlamps ON and select the LOW beams.
  2. Block the light of the right headlamp.
  3. Rotate the left headlamp vertical adjustment screw to adjust the right side of the beam pattern to the lamp horizontal reference height as required. If the headlamp cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlamp) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlamp must be adjusted using the hex manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlamp.
  4. Block the light of the left headlamp.
  5. Rotate the right headlamp vertical adjustment screw to adjust the right side of the beam pattern to the lamp horizontal reference height as required. If the headlamp cannot be adjusted following the standard adjustment procedure (Phillips #2 screwdriver through cone-shaped opening on back of headlamp) due to stripped adjuster bolt teeth, the headlamp must be adjusted using the hex manufactured into adjusting bolt on the backside of the headlamp.
