OPEN

COUNTER CLOCKWISE (CCW) DIRECTION (1)

CLOSE

CLOCKWISE (CW) DIRECTION (2)

1. Remove the mid panel headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL  - CONVERTIBLE TOP, CONVERTIBLE SOFT TOP UNIQUE COMPONENTS or HEADLINER, REMOVAL  - CONVERTIBLE TOP, RETRACTABLE HARD TOP UNIQUE COMPONENTS.
2. Support the top and release the pump pressure valve (3) by turning it two rotations counter clockwise (1).

3. Remove the front clip (1) securing the hydraulic cylinder (3) to the center mid panel latch assembly.
4. Remove the rear clip (2) that secures the cylinder to the top.
   CAUTION:

   Be careful to catch all fluid in a catch container.

5. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the cylinder and remove the cylinder.
