1. Remove the mid panel headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL  - CONVERTIBLE TOP, CONVERTIBLE SOFT TOP UNIQUE COMPONENTS or HEADLINER, REMOVAL  - CONVERTIBLE TOP, RETRACTABLE HARD TOP UNIQUE COMPONENTS.
2. Remove both left and right quarter trim panels. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .
3. Remove the clip and pin (3), one on each side that secures the folding top close out linkage (1) to the folding top side rails (2).
4. Remove the Fasteners (5), one on each side that secures the closeout linkage to the primary hinge (4) and remove the linkage.
