Plate, Presenter: Removal: Removal

  1. Open the power folding top to the fully opened position so that the header latches are fully disengaged.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
  3. Remove the left sun visor retaining screws (1).
  4. Lower the left sun visor and disconnect the electrical connector (3).
  5. Remove the left sun visor (2) from the vehicle.
  6. Repeat the removal procedure for the right sun visor.
  7. Remove one retaining screw to both the left and right side sun visor inner clips.

  8. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove the windshield header lower trim panel (1) by disengaging the retaining clips from the power folding top presenter plate assembly (2).

  9. Remove both the left and right A-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .
  10. Disconnect the presenter plate electrical connector located on the right A-pillar.
  11. Mark the orientation of the presenter plate (3) to the vehicle header panel (1) to ensure proper alignment during installation.
  12. Remove the presenter plate assembly retaining bolts (2).
  13. Separate the presenter plate (3) from the windshield header (1) and remove from vehicle.
