NOTE:
The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) may also be referred to as Electronic Stability Program (ESP) depending on the vehicle model year and configuration.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Cluster detects the TRAC/ESP Off Switch active for greater than 20 seconds.





Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press the TRAC/ESP Off Switch three times.
3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace the Switch Bank.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete.
