- VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Is this DTC active?
Yes
- Refer to U0197-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HANDS FREE PHONE MODULE (HFM) and perform the U0197-Lost Communication with Hands Free Phone Module diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to COMMUNICATION - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
