Theory Of Operation

The (X209) Left Front Tweeter (+) circuit and the (X299) Left Front Tweeter (-) circuit are outputs of the Amplifier. The Amplifier controls and monitors these circuits for a concern when the ignition is cycled on.

• When Monitored: 

  When the ignition is cycled on.

• Set Condition: 

  The Amplifier detects a short to battery condition on the speaker output circuit when the ignition is cycled on.
