Theory Of Operation

The vehicle speed sensor signal is a direct input to the Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) module. The ABS module busses the wheel speed signal over the CAN C BUS. The Transmission Control Module (TCM) receives the message from the CAN BUS. The Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor is part of the wiring harness lead frame that is attached to the valve body. The OSS signal is sent directly to the TCM.
