Diagnostic Test

CHECK DTC IS CURRENT
1. Ignition ON, engine NOT running.
2. With the scan tool, select View TCM DTCs.
  Is the DTC Active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2.
  No
  - Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE for 3.6L or STANDARD PROCEDURE for 5.7L or STANDARD PROCEDURE for 6.4L and perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure.
U0121-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ABS MODULE ALSO SET
1. With the scan tool continue reading DTCs.
  Is U0121-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ABS MODULE set?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and follow the diagnostics for U0121-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ABS MODULE.
  - Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST.
  No
  - Replace and program the TCM in accordance to the Service Information. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL .
  - Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST.
