Diagnostic Test

- PERFORM TCM PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
- With the scan tool, attempt to program the TCM with the latest calibrations.
Were you able to program the TCM successfully?
Yes
- Test Complete.
- Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST.
No
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the Transmission Control Module Assembly (TCMA) terminals for corrosion, damage or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits. If no problems are found, replace and program the TCMA in accordance to the Service Information. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL .
- Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE and perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST.
- With the scan tool, attempt to program the TCM with the latest calibrations.
