Oil Pump Pick-up - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Lightly lubricate the new O-ring seal (1) with engine oil and install on the oil pick-up tube.





2. Install the oil pick-up tube (2). Tighten the bolt (1) to 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.).
3. Install the upper oil pan Engine Oil Pan - Installation
4. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level Service and Repair
5. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
6. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
