Compass Module - Description

DESCRIPTION





The Remote Compass Module (RCM) (1) is secured through two integral mounting tabs (2) to a mounting bracket that is secured to the upper center of the instrument panel support structure, behind the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) display module. A connector receptacle (3) integral to one side of the molded black plastic RCM housing is connected to the vehicle electrical system through a dedicated take out and connector of the instrument panel wire harness.

The RCM cannot be repaired. If the module is ineffective or damaged, the entire unit must be replaced.
