Hood Release Cable - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the hood latch (2) from the vehicle. Hood Latch - Removal.
2. Remove the left headlamp unit from the vehicle.
3. Disengage the hood latch release cable from the integral routing clips on the headlamp mounting crossmember and the routing clips (1) along the left side of the engine compartment.





4. Remove the hood release handle (2) from the knee blocker trim (1) by pushing down to disengage and then pulling rearward on the handle.
5. Unseat the hood latch release cable grommet (1) from the dash panel.
6. Remove the hood latch release handle and cable through the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
