Left Axle Seal

Using Installer (special tool #L-4507, Installer, Bearing), install left (inboard) axle seal (2).
Install differential (3). Refer to Fig 1. Install cover (5) with new O-ring seal (4).
Install and torque cover-to-housing bolts to:
- M10x40 - 65 N.m (48 ft. lbs.)
- M8x25 - 34 N.m (25 ft. lbs.)

Install axle assembly into vehicle. Refer to Installation .
Fill axle (1) with 600ml (0.64 qts.) Mopar® 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lubricant. Torque fill plug (1) to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.). Refer to Fig 2.
