Diagnostic Test

  1. FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CIRCUIT DTCS SET IN THE TIPM 
    NOTE:

    Diagnose and repair any CAN BUS, communication or implausible signal DTCs before proceeding with this test.

    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, View BCM DTCs.

      Are any Fuel Level Sensor Circuit DTCs set in the BCM?

      Yes 

      No 

      • Go To  2
  2. BCM COMMUNICATION RELATED DTCs IN OTHER MODULES 
    1. With the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.

      Is there more than one module with active DTCs "Logged Against" the BCM at this time?

      Yes 

      • Replace and program the Body Control Module in accordance with the service information.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
