  1. PCM GROUND CIRCUIT(S) OPEN
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the PCM C2 harness connector.
    3. Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12 volts, probe each (Z915) PCM ground circuit (terminals 49, 50, 51, 52, and 73) at the PCM C2 harness connector.

Did the test light illuminate (as brightly as direct connection to Battery) for each cavity?

      Yes

      • Go To  2

      No

  2. CHECK THE (F942) FUSED IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT
    1. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the (F942) Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit (terminal 5) at PCM C2 harness connector.
    2. Turn the ignition on.

Did the test light illuminate (as brightly as direct connection to Battery)?

      Yes

      • Go To  3

      No

      • Check the (F78) 10A Fuse for an open. Check the Run/Start Relay for proper operation. If the fuse and relay test good, repair the (F942) Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit for an open or short to ground.
      • Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L .
  3. CHECK THE (A209) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT
    1. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the (A209) Fused B+ circuit (terminals 1, 25, 26, 27, and 28) at the PCM C2 harness connector.

Did the test light illuminate (as brightly as direct connection to Battery)?

      Yes

      No

      • Check the (F22) 30A Fuse for an open. If the fuse tests good, repair the (A209) Fused B+ Output circuit for an open or short to ground.
      • Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L .
