Seal, Adapter Housing: Installation: Installation

NOTE:
On the 2WD models use Seal Installer (special tool #8154, Installer, Seal) with Handle (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal).

- Clean the seal bore in the extension housing of any residue or particles remaining from the original seal.
- Install new oil seal in the extension housing using Handle (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal) (1) and Seal Installer (special tool #10020, Installer, Seal) (2).
