6.4L Y-Pipe

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Unplug the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors. Swap over the sensors as necessary.

  3. Remove and discard  the exhaust pipe to manifold bolts (1, 2) and nuts.
  4. Loosen the exhaust extension pipe to Y-pipe clamp (4) and separate the two pipes.
  5. Shift the exhaust extension pipe and muffler rearward.
  6. Carefully remove the Y-pipe from above the crossmember (3).
