Muffler, Exhaust: Removal: 6.4L

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Saturate the clamp nuts with heat valve lubricant and allow 5 minutes for penetration.

Loosen the tailpipe band clamp (3) from muffler.
Disengage the tailpipe from the hanger isolator (4) and remove the tailpipe from the muffler.
Disengage the muffler from the hanger isolators (2).
Loosen band clamp nut (1) from the exhaust extension pipe and remove the muffler from the extension pipe.
