Leaf Spring

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Support the axle with a suitable holding fixture.
Remove the nuts (1), spring clamp bolts (3) and the plate (2) that attach the spring to the axle.

Remove the bolt and flag nut (1) from the front spring eye (2) to the front spring mount (3).

Remove the bolt and flag nut (1) to the spring rear shackle mount (2).
Remove the spring from the vehicle.

Transfer the shackle (1) by removing the bolt and nut (2) if needed.
