Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK IF THE DTC IS CURRENT 
    NOTE:

    The vehicle must be driven to set this DTC. The transmission must be at operating temperature with the Engine rpm above 1000 rpm.

    1. This DTC is an indication of both the 2/4 and the O/D Hydraulic Pressure Switch DTCs being present.
    2. Perform the diagnostic procedures for both P0845 and P0870.
    3. With the scan tool, check the Event Data to help identify the conditions in which the DTC was set.

      If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.

      Repair 

      • Refer to the Transmission sevice information and perform the diagnostic procedures for P0845 and P0870.
