Actuator, Axle Locker: Installation: Installation

Check O-ring gasket on actuator and replace if necessary.

Install 4WD actuator (1), aligning the locating pin on the actuator and the fork with the intermediate shaft collar.

Install the actuator bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 ft. lbs.).
Connect the 4WD actuator electrical connector.
Check axle fluid level, replace any lost fluid Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
Verify operation of the 4WD system.
