Cover(S), Cylinder Head: Inspection: Inspection

The cylinder head cover gasket and rocker housing gasket, are reusable.  However, should cracks, nicks, or tears be present in the rubber/silicone construction, the defective components should be replaced. Also replace gasket if it is no longer flexible. Inspect cylinder head cover rubber isolated capscrews for cracks, nicks, or tears.
