Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
- Monitor the scan tool for at least two minutes.
Is the DTC active or pending?
Yes
- Perform the diagnostic procedure for U0101 - LOST COMMUNICATION WITH TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM). Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 1500 article.
No
- Perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
