Heater, Transmission: Installation: Installation

  1. Position the transmission heater (1) in place, being sure that the O-rings are seated.
  2. Install the three bolts into the transmission heater and torque to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).

  3. Connect the coolant lines (2) to the transmission heater.
  4. Connect the transmission lines (1) into the transmission heater and snap the lock into place.

  5. Install the left side transmission cooler line (1) bracket bolt 2) and tighten to 21 N.m (15 ft. lbs.).

  6. Install the right side lower transmission line (2) bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 21 N.m (15 ft. lbs.).

  7. Install the right side upper transmission line (1) bracket bolt (2) and tighten to 21 N.m (15 ft. lbs.).
  8. If equipped, install the front propeller shaft.
  9. Fill the engine with coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  10. Fill the transmission with fluid. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
