Line, Diesel Exhaust Fluid Supply: Installation: Installation

  1. Install the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) supply line (1) and connect to the dosing injector (2).
  2. Connect the supply line to the routing clips.

  3. Connect the supply line (5) to the DEF pump.
  4. Connect the DEF supply line heater wire harness connector (1).

  5. Install the DEF pump shield (1). Tighten the nuts (2) 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Using a scan tool, perform DEF Pressure Line Replacement  function found under ENGINE MISC. FUNCTIONS.
