Diagnostic Test

- ACTIVE DTC NOTE:
Diagnose all CAN B and C communication DTCs before continuing.
- Ignition on, engine not running.
- With a scan tool, view DTCs.
Is the status Active for this DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2.
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- ABS COMMUNICATION RELATED DTCs IN OTHER MODULES
- With the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
Is there more than one module with active DTCs 'Logged Against' the ABS at this time?
Yes
- Replace and program the Anti-lock Brake Module (ABS) in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
- With the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
