Fan, Cooling, Electric: Removal: 3.0L-Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (2) at radiator (1).

  4. Disconnect the electric cooling fan wire harness connector (1).

  5. Remove the right fan shroud to radiator mounting bolt (4).

  6. Remove the left fan shroud to radiator mounting bolt (1).
  7. Pulling upward and remove the cooling fan (2).
