2500 - 5500 Heavy Duty

  1. Remove the front wheel liners. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1), if equipped.
  4. Remove the eight nuts (2) and remove the bumper.

  5. Remove the rear (1) and the front (2) push pin fasteners.

  6. Remove the four fasteners (2) and remove the front shroud (1).

  7. Remove the four fasteners (1) and remove the rear shroud (2).

  8. Remove the two upper charge air cooler bolts (1).

  9. Remove the bracket bolts (1) and the two brackets (2).
  10. Position the charge air cooler aside.

  11. Remove the nuts (1) and bolts (2) and remove the tow hooks (3), if equipped.

  12. Remove the bumper bracket support nuts (1).

  13. As necessary, position aside the charge air cooler (2).
  14. Remove the bolt assemblies (1).

  15. Remove the bumper brackets (2) from the frame tips (1).
