Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
3. Cycle the ignition switch.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Is the DTC Active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS). Refer to appropriate Electrical Diagnostic Information .
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
