Pipe, Exhaust Extension: Removal: 6.4L

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

NOTE: Hangers and isolators may vary depending on wheelbase and model.

Remove the muffler (3). Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL .
Disconnect the isolators (2) from exhaust extension pipe.
Saturate the band clamp nuts (1) with heat valve lubricant and allow 5 minutes for penetration.
Loosen band clamp nut and remove the exhaust extension pipe.
