Muffler, Exhaust: Installation: 6.4L

Install the muffler hanger isolators (2).
Install the muffler to the exhaust extension pipe and tighten band clamp nut (1) to the proper. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Position the tailpipe to the muffler.
Install the tailpipe hanger isolator (4).
Tighten the tailpipe to muffler band clamp nut (3) to the proper. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. A minimum of 25 mm (1.0 in.) is required between the exhaust system components and body/frame parts. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
