6.7L Diesel Engine

Review the warnings and cautions for this system before performing the procedure. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Refer to PLUMBING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the air filter housing.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C pressure transducer (1).
- Remove the nut (3) that secures the A/C discharge line (2) to the condenser jumper line tapping block (4).
- Disconnect the A/C discharge line from the condenser jumper line tapping block and remove and discard the O-ring seal and gasket.
NOTE:

- Remove the turbocharger outlet tube.
- Remove the nut (1) that secures the A/C discharge line (4) to the A/C compressor (2).
- Disconnect the A/C discharge line from the A/C compressor and remove and discard the O-ring seal and gasket.
- Install plugs in, or tape over the opened discharge line fittings and the compressor and jumper line ports.
- If necessary, remove the A/C pressure transducer from the A/C discharge line. Refer to TRANSDUCER, A/C PRESSURE, REMOVAL .
