Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

If there are any CAN Bus DTCs present, perform the Diagnostics on those DTCs before continuing with this one.

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the scan tool, select view DTCs.
Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes
- Perform Diagnostics in the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM).
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT DTC .
