Diagnostic Test

CHECKING FOR OTHER PCM DTCS

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the PCM DTCs.
Are P016E, P016F, P0087, P0088, any EGR DTCs, any FRP DTCs, any Injector DTCs or any O2 Sensor DTCs present?

Yes
- Perform the Diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
