Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY ACTIVE ORC DTC NOTE:
Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read ORC DTCs.
Does the scan tool display an active U1414-00-IMPLAUSIBLE/MISSING ECU NETWORK CONFIGURATION DATA - DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2.
No
- Repair complete.
- Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to Standard Procedure .
- VERIFY ACTIVE TIPM DTC
- With the scan tool, read TIPM DTCs.
Does the scan tool display any active TIPM DTCs?
Yes
- Perform the appropriate TIPM diagnostic procedures. Refer to the appropriate Electrical Diagnostic Information .
No
- Replace the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) in accordance with Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST for 1500, 2500 & 3500, or BODY VERIFICATION TEST for 3500 CAB & CHASSIS, 4500 & 5500 .
- With the scan tool, read TIPM DTCs.
