Diagnostic Test

RADIO

Move the vehicle to a shaded area and allow it to cool down.
Turn the ignition on when the vehicle interior is no warmer than the ambient temperature.
With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
Turn the Radio and External Disc Module on and wait 90 seconds.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the Scan Tool display: B142B-00-VES UNIT HIGH TEMPERATURE?

Yes
- Replace the External Disc Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Test Complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
