3.0L Diesel

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Detach the cable harness retainer.

  4. Disconnect the solenoid connector (1).
  5. Remove the B+ battery cable retainer and remove the B+ battery cable (2).
  6. Remove the retainers and remove the starter (3).
