3.0L Diesel Dual Exhaust

- Pre-assemble muffler (2) and clamp (1) loosely to permit proper alignment of all parts.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Hang the dual outlet muffler (2) on the isolators (4).
- Install muffler (2) on the exhaust pipe (3). Tighten to 65 N.m (48 ft. lbs.).
- Install the tailpipe assemblies. Refer to TAILPIPE, EXHAUST, INSTALLATION .
- Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. A minimum of 25 mm (1.0 in.) is required between the exhaust system components and body/frame parts. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
