Seal, Differential: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Right side shown in illustration, left side similar.

  1. Remove the half shaft. Refer to REMOVAL .
    NOTE:

    Some transaxle fluid may spill when the transmission extension assembly (2) is removed.

  2. Remove the transmission extension assembly (2) bolts (six bolts for left side, four bolts for right side) and remove the assembly (1).
